Veteran of 15 Wars Speech Utterly Rejected.
Click on to view. 4 parts. New York Times war correspondent and author on books which reveal the true nature of war was uterly rejected by the students of Rockford College in Illinois. Mr. Hedges gave his views about the U.S. involvement in Iraq and the new era which is upon us. Very few people listened. If Mr. Hedges were gifted politician, in my view, who could have pandered to the ego of his audience with flattery and lies he might have won a hearing. But, his delivery was only factual and of vital urgency for these times, and his audience seemed hard hearted toward his message. Without judging him or his audience I would say that what took place is wholely consistent with the effects that the uncomfortable truth tends to have upon ears of those who have been conditioned to believe lies.
